The Greater San Antonio Neighborhood Council meets bi-monthly on the second Wednesday of the month. We will updating this page as we get a new Zoom account from the city and have a link and a date for resuming our meetings.

Other events here are created and put on by residents themselves, as well as many amazing organizations that offer provide services for our community.

ABOUT US 

The Greater San Antonio Neighborhood Council includes residents from the beats 19x, 18x, and 18y: From Lake Merritt, down International Blvd to the 23rd and the Embarcadero, and above San Antonio Park to 580. 

We gather bi-monthly over Zoom and occasionally in-person to discuss the needs of our neighborhoods and work with the Deputy City Administrator and other city officials to affect change.

In February 2025, the city of Oakland dissolved the Neighborhood Services Department, which organized and provided support to the Neighborhood Councils across the city. It is up to communities to carry on these organizations and continue to meet with the city to promote our needs, voice our concerns, and build safer, stronger neighborhoods.
